i created digital and ANALOG games DURING MY TIME IN UNIVERSITY, these can be viewed and played below in chronological order.

Brisk

Mechanics: Victory Points, Card Management, Worker Placement
Theme: Military
Release: October 2015
Role: Designer, Production

'Brisk' was created for a Game Design module in which we had to strip an already established game down to it's basics, to make it playable within 30 minutes and with the only components being cards.

We were assigned Risk as our game to re-create and from this Brisk, which is a play on words that is indicative of the speed it takes to play, was born. In Brisk you take on the role of a military commander and must deploy your troops into countries to capture them but also to keep them defended against other players. Collect a full set of colour-matching country cards and you win the game.

Theme: Fantasy
Release: May 2015
Role: Designer, Production

My most successful board game to date, Heroes Choice, has been featured at State of Play (Ireland's premier Independant Game Developer Event) and the Dublin Maker Festival in Trinity College. The game got a lot of attention from parents and children as well as organizations such as Autism Ireland and even Microsoft.

Firewall

Mechanics: Victory Points, Hex to Hex, Dice Rolling
Theme: Sci-Fi
Release: December 2014
Role: Designer, Production

Here you can view pictures of my first fully completed board game - "Firewall".

This game is for 2 players and the aim of the game is to become the most successful hacker by visiting various websites or network locations and hacking past their firewalls in order to access valuable data. The hacker with the most data points at the end of the game wins. I created the components for this game (except dice and meeples) entirely by hand requiring many, many late nights over the space of a week.
